Nathalie woman faces larceny charge

A 35-year-old Nathalie woman faces a felony charge of third offense petty larceny and was issued a felony capias for probation violation. Tiesha Lynette Ragsdale of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway also faces misdemeanor charges for contempt of court and another for violating a good behavior provision, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Ragsdale was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Jan. 14, July 20, Oct. 8, Nov. 1 and 15. Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrants and issued the capias Friday.

• Dixie L. Perkins, 22, of Boxwood Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of making threats over the phone.

The alleged offense occurred March 26, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrant Saturday.

 Ronnell D. Leachman, 21, of Carrington Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Inv. T. A. Mocarsky served the warrant Saturday.

 Michael Scott Essig, 22, of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of making threats over the telephone.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrant Saturday.

 James Wesley Perkins, 53, of Boxwood Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of making threats over the telephone.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Nunn served the warrant Saturday.

 Harry Phillip Womack, 30, of Hog Wallow Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 28, and Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrant Monday.

 Thomas Justin Reeves, 18, of Mt. Carmel Road, Alton faces misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possessing marijuana.

The alleged offenses occurred March 4, and Deputy S. M. Bowen served the warrants Monday.

 Clyde Junior Hite, 40, of South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer J. J. George served the warrant Sunday.

 Joseph W. Mosier Jr., 25, of Halifax faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Mosier was arrested Sunday.

 Christopher Shane Robertson, 22, of South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Robertson was arrested Sunday.

 Erica Antonio Roberts, 30, of South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery on a family member.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrant Sunday, and Roberts was held with no bond.

 Gilberto Colin Monzon, 33, of South Boston faces two charges of violating a protective order.

George served the warrants Sunday, and Monzon was held with no bond.

 Paulette Bryant, 50, of South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery on a family member.

Cpl. J. C. Berry served the warrant Sunday, and Bryant was held on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

 Brent Maurice Crawley, 35, of Cluster Springs faces a charge of driving under the influence.
