Scottsburg man faces felony charge

A 20-year-old Scottsburg man faces a felony charge of intent to burglarize and misdemeanor charges of assault and battery on a family member, vandalism and violating a juvenile protective order, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Michael Tyler Duffie of Bethel Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Jan. 27, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrants Tuesday.

Mandy Leigh Hall Shelton, 29, of Cowford Road, Halifax faces felony charges of fraud and possessing stolen property with the intent to distribute.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 3, and Inv. C. J. Yeatts served the warrants Thursday.

 Natarsha Monay Clark, 22, of Clover Road, Clover faces two felony charges of forging public records.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 21, 2010 and July 9, 2011. Sgt. C. S.  Yeatts served the warrants Tuesday.

 Ella Yvonne Tuck, 44, of Bane Street, South Boston was issued a felony capias for violating probation.

The alleged offense occurred March 4, and Cross issued the capias Tuesday.

 Clarence Hall Jr., 46, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 11, and Inv. T. A. Mocarsky served the warrant Tuesday.

 Timothy Brad Puryear, 31, of Link Puryear Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offense occurred March 15, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Wednesday.

 Thomas Joseph Kellner, 45, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in court.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Sargent served the warrant Wednesday.

 Beth Robyn Collier, 55, Volens Road, Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery on a family member and trespassing to threaten.

The alleged offenses occurred Wednesday, and Sgt. Yeatts served the warrant Thursday.

 Ronald William Ross, 53, of Glendale Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrant Thursday.

 Sharonta Sarah White, 34, of South Boston faces a charge of felony assault with intent to maim, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer J. J. George served the warrant Thursday.

 Marcus Tyler Hughes, 21, of South Boston faces charges of petty larceny and felony intent to burglarize.

Officer C.M. Mann served the warrant Tuesday, and Hughes was held on a $5,000 secured bond.
