Teenager faces firearm charge

A 19-year-old South Boston man faces a felony charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Chuquor Raheem Mosley, 19, of Cathy Sue Lane was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Dec. 2, and Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrants Tuesday. 

Thomas Chase Lourdeau, 25, of Boelte Lane, Vernon Hill faces a felony charge of writing a bad check.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 10, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrant Tuesday.

 Michael Lee Anderson, 30, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Edmonds served the warrant Tuesday.

 Jason Tyler McKinney, 29, of Bench Lane, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred March 8, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Tuesday.

 George Myers Breedlove, 48, of Lower Liberty Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Edmonds served the warrant Wednesday.

 James Edward Wyatt, 25, of South Boston faces charges of assault and battery on a family member and strangling or choking another, according to South Boston Police Department reports.

Cpl. M. W. Bowen served the warrants Wednesday.

 Allen Hutson Jr., 26, of Newport, N.C. was charged with being drunk in public.

Officer T. D. Clay served the warrant Wednesday.

 Frank Edward Sanford, 26, of South Boston faces charges of depriving an animal of food and care and contempt of court

Officer R. J. Mead served the warrants Tuesday.
