Danville man faces felony drug charge

A 42-year-old Danville man faces a felony charge of possessing a controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Gary Anderson Barker Jr. of Elizabeth Street was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Aug. 20, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrant Monday.

Bianca Conyetta Jones, 24, of Oak Level Road, South Boston faces a felony charge of failure to appear in court.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 27, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrant Monday.

  Al Davis Graves, 52, of Mallard Lane, South Boston faces a felony charge of driving under the influence, third conviction within 10 years, and a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrants the same day.

 Ronnie Dean Newbill, 50, of Owens Avenue, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 11, and Inv. C. J. Yeatts served the warrant Friday.

 Lawrence William Jennings, 52, of Bradley Creek Road, Nathalie, faces a charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred March 6, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrant Friday.

 Carroll Louis Barksdale Jr., 27, of Bostick Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 12, and Sgt. C. S.  Yeatts served the warrant Saturday.

 Shatece Revay Breedlove, 27, of Lower Liberty Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred March 6, and Inv. Yeatts served the warrant Saturday.

 Bryan Wesley Newbill, 22, of Fordland Drive, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant the same day.

 William Jamail Easley, 32, of Ballou Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Halifax Police Officer W. R. Wilmoth served the warrant the same day.

 Paris Malik Palmer, 18, of South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession, according to a South Boston Police Department report.

Officer E. M. Cawthon served the warrant Monday, and Palmer was released on summons.
