Lynchburg man faces larceny

A 39-year-old Lynchburg man faces felony charges of possessing burglary tools and grand larceny and a misdemeanor charge of trespassing with the intent to do damage, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Joseph Payne Morgan of Walton Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Friday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrants the same day.

Mark David Martin, 54, of Foster Lane, Lynchburg faces felony charges of possessing burglary tools and grand larceny and a misdemeanor charge of trespassing with intent to do damage.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Cross served the warrants the same day.

• Leslie Morgan Jones, 27, of James D. Hagood Highway, Scottsburg faces two felony charges of forging a check.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 23 and Feb. 3, and Cross served the warrants on Sunday.

• Tina Ann Brown Kirby, 37, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 6, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Friday.

• Wendell Lee Guthrie, 58, of Stage Coach Road, Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of contempt of court and violating a good behavior provision.

The alleged offenses occurred Feb. 13 and Friday, and Sgt. D. W. Martin served the warrants Friday.

 Brad Tuggle, 36, of Jesses Lane, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 11, and Sargent served the warrant Friday.

 Darryl King Watts, 54, of MacDonald Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 14, and Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrant Friday.

 Jeremy Antwan Hutcherson, 32, of Grace Avenue, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license and DUI, second conviction within five years.

The alleged offenses occurred Saturday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrants the same day.

 Larry Leon Caddle Jr., 28, of Ball Park Loop Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Clarke served the warrant Sunday.

 Terry Palmer, 19, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of driving while not licensed and driving under the influence while under age.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Clarke served the warrant the same day.

 Yolanda Monique White, 36, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant the same day.

 Reginald Antwan Clements, 34, of Cole Trail, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of being an habitual offender, refusing a blood/breath test and driving under the influence.

The alleged offenses occurred Monday, and Clarke served the warrants the same day.

 Charlene Carrington, 47, of Ghee Lane, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Sgt. C. S. Yeatts served the warrant Monday.

 Trayvon Lemonte Jackson, 22, of South Boston faces a charge of possession of marijuana, according to South Boston Police Office reports.

Officer F. A. Powell served the warrant Monday.

 Boss Thomas Dolen, 29, of Richmond faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Powell served the warrant Monday.

 Robert Loftin Dudley Jr., 26, of Chester faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Powell served the warrant Tuesday.
