Pair of Halifax residents face multiple drug indictments

A pair of Halifax residents face multiple drug indictments following execution of a search warrant on a Ball Park Loop residence in Halifax.

Cordaro Wilson, 24, and Glenn Palmer, 48, were arrested on Saturday after the Halifax Regional Narcotic and Gang Task Force executed a search warrant on the Halifax residence, according to Special Agent Jay George III.

After the Division III Tac Team was utilized to make entry, the two subjects who occupy the residence were placed under indictment for distribution of marijuana.

Approximately one-half pound of suspected marijuana was seized, George said. The 224 grams of suspected drugs are valued at $2,240.

Also seized from the residence was $719 in U.S. currency, the special agent said.

Involved in the execution of the search warrant were law enforcement officers in the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, South Boston Police Department, Virginia State Police and Halifax Regional Narcotic and Gang Task Force.

Wilson faces five indictments for distribution of marijuana, and Palmer faces three indictments on the same charge, George said.

Wilson is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail on $7,500 unsecured bond, and Palmer is being held on $3,000 secured bond.
