Teen facing charge of malicious wounding

A 19-year-old South Boston man faces a felony charge of malicious wounding while being in a mob, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Trey Roberts of Bold Springs Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred June 26, and Deputy J. P. Adams served the warrant Wednesday.

Tony Ezra Cunningham, 50, of Sandy Beach Road, South Boston was issued a felony capias for probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 15, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrant Monday.

 Calvin Rock Johnson, 53, of Burton Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a juvenile protective order.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 26, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant Tuesday.

 Clarence Hall Jr., 45, of Melon Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 11, and Adams served the warrant Wednesday

 Harold Davis Link, 49, of Carrington Trail, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in court. 

The alleged offense occurred March 12, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Wednesday.

 Lakeo Lorenzo Mitchell, 30, of Dryburg Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a juvenile protective order.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 29, and Sargent served the warrant Wednesday.

 Demetrius Lamontca Ferrell, 34, of South Boston faces charges of contempt of court and probation violation, according to South Boston Police Office records.

Ferrell was charged Tuesday and held without bond.

 Clarence Jay Sydnor, 53, of South Boston faces a drunk in public charge.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Officer F. Powell served the warrant the same day.
