South Boston man faces grand larceny charge

A 22-year-old South Boston man faces a felony charge of grand larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

 

Alexander Howard Payne of Suggs Avenue was charged with the alleged offense that occurred July 24, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrant Wednesday.

Shaun Douglas Rabba, 31, of Burton Road, Scottsburg faces felony charges of fraud, false application for welfare and welfare fraud.

The alleged offenses occurred in July, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrants Wednesday.

 Ricky Lee Peck, 49, of S. N. Snow Road in Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of allowing an animal to run at large.

The alleged offense occurred June 20, and Sgt. C. S. Yeatts served the warrant Wednesday.

 Helene Louise Davis, 43, of Big Cedar Drive, Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of inflicting injury to an animal and allowing a dog to chase animals.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 26, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrants Thursday.

 Erik D. Dervalice, 23, of Big Cedar Drive, Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of inflicting injury to an animal and allowing a dog to chase animals.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 26, and Hudson served the warrants Thursday.

 Sharon Eileen Willet, 67, of Big Cedar Drive, Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of inflicting injury to an animal and allowing a dog to chase animals.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 26, and Hudson served the warrants Thursday.

 A 20-year-old Richmond man faces charges of assault and battery and assault and battery of a family member, according to South Boston Police Office reports.

Travon Rajah Meredith was charged with the alleged offenses Friday and was being held on $2,500 unsecured bond.
