SoBo man arrested on multiple charges

A 29-year-old South Boston man faces multiple charges including resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and possession with intent to distribute a Scheduled I/II controlled substance, according to South Boston Police Office records.

Jeremy Deon Medley is currently being held without bond in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail following his arrest Sunday by South Boston Police Officer A. E. Whitmore.

Quincy Eugene Moore, 39, of South Boston faces multiple charges including driving under the influence, second offense, possession of a Scheduled I/II narcotic, distribution of marijuana, resisting arrest, obstruction of justice and driving on a revoked license DUI related.

South Boston Police Cpl. M. W. Bowen served the warrants on Moore. Moore is currently being held on a $25,000 secured bond in Blue Ridge Regional Jail.

 Jusquan A. Hutcherson, 19, of South Boston faces a charge of driving on a suspended license.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Hutcherson was released on a summons.

 Arianna N. Dawson, 21, of Nathalie faces a shoplifting charge following an alleged incident that occurred Saturday.

Officer A. E. Whitmore served the warrant on Dawson who was released on summons.

 Kevin D. Chappell Jr., 19, of South Boston faces charges of trespassing and being drunk in public.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Cpl. T. B. White served the warrants on Chappell who is being held in Blue Ridge Regional Jail.

 Shaquill M. Ford, 19, of South Boston faces a charge of trespassing.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 12, and Officer C. M. Mann served the warrant.

 Patrick L. Prophet, 20, of Clover faces a charge of driving on a suspended license.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Officer Whitmore served the warrant.

Prophet was released on summons.

 Gail Whitten, 63, of South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Cpl. Bowen served the warrant.

Whitten was released on summons, and a protective order also was served.

 Jason T. Daniels, 33, of South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Cpl. Bowen served the warrant.

Daniels was released on summons, and a protective order also was served.

 A 24-year-old South Boston woman faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Joy White of Second Street was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Sept. 17.

Investigator C. J. Yeatts served the warrant Thursday.

 Tracey Atoy Walker, 40, of Myrtle Street, Danville faces a misdemeanor charge of community diversion violation.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 7, and Sgt. T. C. Spencer served the warrant Thursday.
