Halifax man faces felony charge

A 56-year-old Halifax man faces a felony charge of larceny of an animal worth more than $200, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

 

Samuel Bruce Atkinson, 56, of Mountain Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Monday, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrant Tuesday.

Gary Randy Bailey, 59, of Mason Chapel Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of threatening bodily harm.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 5, and Clark served the warrant Tuesday.

 Jacqueline Arnese Hammon, 55, of Melon Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrant the same day.

 Paul JP Damiano Jr., 63, of Vaughan Street, South Boston faces two misdemeanor counts of assault and battery.

The alleged offenses occurred Saturday, and Sgt. C. S. Yeatts served the warrants Wednesday.

 Diondre Ramone Parker, 25, of Willow Oaks Apartment, South Boston faces a charge of trespassing, according to South Boston Police Office records.

Parker was charged with the alleged offense Thursday.

 Nicholas Jerome Breedlove, 33, of Poplar Creek Street, Halifax faces three drug charges including conspiracy to distribute, distribution of a controlled substance and distribution of marijuana.

 Travis Pannell, 23, of Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Sgt. R. D. Edmonds served the warrant the same day.

 Richard Howell, 35, of New Haven, Conn. faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Officer J. J. George served the warrant the same day.

 Bobby Jackson, 49, of South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public and was issued a capias.

The alleged offenses occurred Saturday and March 18, 1998, and Officer C. M. Mann served the warrant and capias Saturday.
