Virgilina man faces felony habitual offender charge

A 41-year-old Virgilina man faces a felony charge of being a habitual offender, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Howard Anderson Yancey of Red Bank Road is charged with the alleged offense that occurred Dec. 21, 2011, and  Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrant Monday.

John Robert Bostick Jr., 55, of North Main Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrant the same day.

 Nicholas Jerome Breedlove, 33, of Lower Liberty Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court, and he was issued a surety capias.

The alleged offenses occurred March 19 and March 26, and  Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant and the capias Monday. 

 Steven Anthony Halloren, 31, of BLS Creek Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of inflicting injury to an animal.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Sgt. T. C. Spencer served the warrant the same day.
