South Boston man faces assault charge

An 18-year-old South Boston man faces a felony charge of assault while applying pressure, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Justin Jamall Howell of Ponderosa Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Wednesday, and Deputy S. Britton served the warrant the same day.

Curtis Anthony Cox, 22, of Ponderosa Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Sgt. T. C. Spencer served the warrant the same day.

 Denise Rebecca Reep, 43, of Bill Tuck Highway, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of making annoying phone calls.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 12, and Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrant Monday.

 Pakita Lynn Dixon, 35, of Alder Trail, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of making annoying phone calls.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 19, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant Monday.

 Shamon Isidore Terry, 28, of Summit Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 31, and Sgt. D. H. Barksdale served the warrant Monday.

 Kelvin Isaiah Boyd, 20, of Berry Hill Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of failing to report to jail.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 30, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrant Monday.

 Erica Delonya Ragsdale, 33, of Chestnut Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of stalking.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 4, and Barksdale served the warrant Tuesday.

 Jason J. Bouie, 27, of South Boston faces a five count task force indictment on felony charges of distributing a Scheduled II controlled substance, according to South Boston Police Office records. 

The alleged offense occurred March 1, and Officer R. J. Mead served the warrant Wednesday. 

Bouie is being held without bond.

 Stacie Griffin, 26, of Roxboro N.C. faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery. 

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrant Wednesday. 

Griffin was released on summons.

 April V. Faulkner, 35, of Cole Lane, Scottsburg faces two misdemeanor charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct.

The alleged offenses occurred Aug. 24.

Cpl. C. S. Yeatts served the warrants Monday.
