South Boston man faces drug charges

A 29-year-old South Boston man faces two felony charges of distributing a controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Arie Lamartz Ferrell of Hamilton Boulevard is charged with the alleged offenses that occurred May 19, 2011, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrants Thursday.

• Booker Eullice Waller, 68, of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway, Nathalie faces a felony charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant the same day.

• Deaundray Ontario Martin, 19, of Riverdale Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Sgt. T. C. Spencer served the warrant the same day.

• James Edward Wyatt, 24, of Poplar Creek Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery and two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Clarke served the warrant Saturday.

• Robert Lee Moore, 27, of Toms Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrant the same day.

• Andrea Daun Hatcher, 21, of Hudson Road, Virgilina faces a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession. 

The alleged offense occurred April 26, and Deputy S. Britton served the warrant Sunday.

• Robert Lee Simmons, 25, of Highway 49 North, Chase City faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in court.

The alleged offense occurred July 2, and Sargent served the warrant Sunday.

• Robert Bryant Davis, 36, of Hog Wallow Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy J. O. Tanner Jr. served the warrant the same day.
