South Boston woman faces burglary, grand larceny charges

A 46-year-old South Boston woman faces a pair of felony charges for grand larceny and common law burglary, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Teresa Christine Comer of Oak Level Road also faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism for the alleged offenses that occurred June 3.

Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrants Thursday.

w Kiesha Spencer, 36, of Poplar Creek Street, South Boston was issued a misdemeanor surety capias.

The alleged offense occurred May 25, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark issued the capias Thursday.

w Sometime this past Wednesday afternoon, someone stole a black 1988 Volvo from the yard of Stephen Crowder on St. Michaels Drive in South Boston, Halifax County Sheriff Fred Clark said. The vehicle was not in running condition. 

Deputy Chris Yeatts is the investigating officer.

w A 19-year-old South Boston teen faces a pair of misdemeanor charges stemming from an incident that occurred Wednesday, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Shaquill M. Ford was charged with reckless driving and hit and run, damaging property over $500.

Cpl. M. W. Bowen served the warrants Thursday, and Ford was released on a summons.
