SoBo teen faces credit card fraud, related charges

An 18-year-old South Boston man is facing 10 charges for credit card fraud and related charges.

Scott Matthew Parrish Jr. is charged with two felony counts of credit card fraud, three misdemeanor counts of credit card fraud, three felony counts of credit card theft, and two counts of grand larceny.

 The alleged offenses occurred on March 18, 2011 and March 19, 2012. Sgt. Q.W. Clark served the warrants Thursday.

w Deron Jamal Traynham, 22, of South Boston faces a felony charge of attempted robbery and a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offenses occurred March 16 and Deputy S. Britton served the warrants Thursday.

• Justin Demone King, 22, of South Boston faces five felony charges of embezzlement of leased property with a value greater than $200 and three felony charges of fraud using false pretenses. 

The alleged offenses occurred May 27, 2011, 0ct. 28, 2011, Nov. 25, 2011, Dec. 6, 2011, Jan 11, 2012 and Dec. 10, 2011.

Clark  served the warrants Thursday.

• Darrius Lechon King, 20, of South Boston faces three felony charges of embezzlement of leased property with a value greater than $200.

The alleged offenses occurred on Dec. 10, 2011, Jan 9 and Feb. 23.

 Clark served the warrants on Thursday.

•  Willie Anderson Cullop, 50, of Long Island faces a felony charge of driving after being declared a habitual offender and two misdemeanor charges, one for driving under the influence and the other for refusing to take a blood/breath test.

The alleged offenses occurred on Thursday and Deputy C.S. Hudson served the warrants the same day.

• Monte McNear, 20, of Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana, according to South Boston Police records.

The alleged offense occurred on Thursday and Officer C.M. Mann served the warrant the same day.

McNear was released on a summons, according to the police report.

• Latoya Pannell, 27, of South Boston faces two misdemeanor charges for issuing a bad check to Top Nails.

The alleged offenses occurred on June 29, 2010 and July 19, 2010.

Officer C.L. Collie served the warrant Thursday.

Pannell was released on a summons.

• A failure to appear charge has been lodged against a 25-year-old Danville man, according to South Boston Police reports.

Officer T. Carrington served Jack D. McColloch with the warrant on Friday.

•  Tony Burden Jr., 28, of South Boston has been charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Cpl. J.C. Berry served the warrant on Burden on Friday.

• Timothy R. Peter, 52, of South Boston was charged Saturday with a first offense of DUI and possession of marijuana.

Cpl. M. W. Bowen served the warrants on Peter.
