A man sought in connection with robbery, firearms and grand larceny charges turned himself in Friday afternoon, according to Halifax County Sheriff Fred Clark.
Eric Lamont Davis, a 25-year-old Nathalie man, turned himself in to authorities at his Pumping Hill Road home around 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon without incident, Clark said.
Davis had contacted Investigator J.M. Burton and told the investigator to meet him at his home, Clark added.
Authorities had been searching for Davis for about two days before he turned himself in.
Halifax County Sheriff’s Deputies and a Virginia State Police tactical unit had brought in tracking dogs and a state police helicopter to search for Davis Wednesday evening without finding him.
