Failure to register as sex offender charged

 A 42-year-old Creedmoor, North Carolina, man faces a felony charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

Curtis Wayne Warren of Brassfield Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Sept. 8, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrant Tuesday.

Travis Jermele White, 26, of Riverdale Drive, South Boston was issued a felony capias for a probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 22, 2010, and Logan served the warrant Wednesday.

 Dena Joy McCready, 39, of Ramble Road, Virgilina faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Lt. Q. W. Clark served the warrant Tuesday.

 William Patrick Wyman II, 29, of Leighwood Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Halifax Police Officer D. D. Irby served the warrant Tuesday.

Shane Adam Cole, 24, of Huell Matthews Highway, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery on a family member and two counts of violating provisions of a protective order.

The alleged offenses occurred Tuesday and Wednesday, and Deputy J. G. Long served onewarrant Tuesday, and Crime Prevention Officer D. K. Francis served two warrants Thursday.

 Leslie Lloyd Bray, 30, of Cody Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred July 1, and Compton served the warrant Tuesday.

 Barry Keith Hudson, 48, of Virgilina Road, Virgilina was issued a misdemeanor surety capais.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant the same day.

 Theresa Brown Canada–Bailey, 44, of Bane Street, South Boston faces indictments on charges of fraud by false pretense and forgery by check, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Cpl. J. C. Berry served the warrants Thursday, and Canada-Bailey was held with no bond.

 Malik Jamal Williams, 18, of Carrington Street, South Boston faces a charge of trespassing. 

Cpl J. C. Berry served the warrant Wednesday.
