Nathalie man faces pair of drug felonies

A 32-year-old Nathalie man faces a pair of felony drug charges, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Robert Darnell Graves of Kitty’s Lane was charged with two counts of distributing a controlled substance.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 18 and Oct. 2, and Crime Prevention Officer D. K. Francis served the warrants Monday.

David Stevenson Lyons, 39, of Polar Creek Street, South Boston faces felony charges of possessing burglary tools and burglary with felony intent.

The alleged offenses occurred Feb. 14, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrants Friday.

 Laquan Rashed Gilliam, 21, of College Street, Clarksville faces a felony charge of embezzling leased property.

The alleged offense occurred March 21, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Saturday.

 Ramone Lavar Perkins, 29, of North Main Street, South Boston faces two felony charges of violating probation.

The alleged offenses occurred June 21, 2012, and Compton issued the capiases Friday.

 Richard Dale Culley, 25, of Acorn Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge of possessing a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possessing marijuana.

The alleged offenses occurred April 16, and Sgt. J. P. Adams served the warrants Friday.

 Wayne Preston Coles, 44, of Cowford Road, Halifax faces a felony charge of being a habitual offender and misdemeanor charges of failure to obey a traffic light and driving under the influence.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrants the same day.

 Sandra Lynn Smith, 36, of Oak Level Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice by threat/no force.

The alleged offense occurred June 15, and another agency served the warrant Saturday.

 Alice Gooch Thaxton, 45, of Hunter Lane, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant the same day.

 Keith Lionel Traynham, 29, of Temple Hill Road, Scottsburg was issued a misdemeanor surety capias.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Sgt. J. P. Adams served the warrant Monday.

 Danny Louis Perkins, 35, of Love Shop Park Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred June 17, and Compton served the warrant Sunday.

 A 21-year-old South Boston woman faces a larceny charge for shoplifting, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Chantell Monique Spencer of Cherry Hill Church Road was charged with the alleged offense when Officer T. D. Clay served the warrant Saturday. 

She was released on a summons.
