Scottsburg woman faces drug charges

A 30-year-old Scottsburg woman faces a felony charge of possessing a Scheduled I or II controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Nannie Elizabeth Cash of Drybridge Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Sunday, and Inv. C. S. Hudson served the warrants the same day.

 Barry Allen Barnett, 37, of Mountain Road, Vernon Hill faces a felony charge of being a fugitive and a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.

The alleged offenses occurred April 16 and Monday, and Deputy J. P. Adams served the warrants Monday.

 Alton Glenn Beadles, 53, of Beaver Pond Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred April 5, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Friday.

 Tyrell O’Brien Vaden, 25, of Rosewood Lane, Danville faces misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence, refusing to take a blood or breathalyzer test, driving on a suspended and revoked license and vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred Saturday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrants the same day.

 John Benton Fulton IV, 42, of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway, Nathalie faces a charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant the same day.

 James Watkins Crews II, 31, of Coles Ferry Road, Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence, refusing a blood or breathalyzer test and violating a restricted license.

The alleged offenses occurred Saturday, and Clarke served the warrants Sunday.

 Carly Sue Myers, 29, of Ed Mason Lane, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of larceny for shoplifting.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Cross served the warrant Sunday.

 Joshua Evan Brandon, 20, of River Road, South Boston faces charges of being drunk in public and trespassing. 

Officer C. M. Mann served the warrants Saturday.
