SoBo man faces conspiracy, street gang participation, assault charges

A 21-year-old South Boston man faces two charges of conspiracy, criminal street gang participation and felony assault with intent by mob, according to South Boston Police Department records. 

Tevin Rashon Smith of Ferry Street was charged with the alleged offenses, and Deputy J. D. Tucker of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office served the warrants on behalf of the South Boston Police Department.

Janay Yvonne Graves, 25, faces a felony charge of shoplifting.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Officer A.  Davis served the warrant the same day.

 Taquana Moniqua Davis, 18, of Berry Hill Road, South Boston was faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting, giving false information to a law enforcement officer and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. 

Cpl. A. E. Whitmore served the warrants, and Davis is being held on a $3,000 unsecured bond on the larceny and false information charges and a $2,000 unsecured bond on the contributing charge.

 Laura Lynn Fears, 24, of King Village Trail, Halifax was charged with fraud by false pretense and larceny for shoplifting. 

Deputy Tucker served the warrants on behalf of the South Boston Police Department. 

 Sara Paige Daniels, 22, faces a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Officer T. D.  Clay served the warrant the same day.

 Kimber Leigh Crenshaw, 22, faces a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Clay served the warrant the same day.

 Michael Thomas Newton, 43, faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

 The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Clay served the warrant the same day.

 Inez Ferrell, 52, faces a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Officer T. N. Bratton served the warrant the same day.

 Allen Kent Oakley, 48, faces a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting.

The alleged offense occurred April 29, and Clay served the warrant the same day.

 Calvin J. Hankins, 28, faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. 

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Officer F. A. Powell served the warrant Sunday.
