Halifax Man Faces Felony Charge

An 18-year-old Halifax man has been charged with felony malicious wounding, according to sheriff’s office records.

Justin Thomas Trammel of Newbill School Road was charged with feloniously stabbing, cutting or wounding with intent to maim, disfigure, disable or kill.

The offense allegedly occurred Oct. 12, and Deputy J. M. Burton served the warrant Saturday.

• David Anthony Woods, 33, Haskins Street, South Boston, was charged with misdemeanor identity theft-use of another’s ID with intent to defraud and the financial loss of $200 or less.

The offense allegedly occurred June 22, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant Thursday.

• Shirley A. Harris, 31, High View Road, Halifax, was served a capias for failure to appear in Halifax County General District Court on Friday.

Deputy T. B. Sargent served the capias on Harris that night.
