Nathalie man faces felony charges

 

A 29-year-old Nathalie resident faces a felony intent charge of burglary, a felony charge of grand larceny and a misdemeanor charge of vandalism, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Jeremy Andrew Elliott of Stage Coach Road was charged Saturday for the alleged offenses that occurred Friday.

 

Deputy J. O. Tanner Jr. served the warrants.

Albert Lamont Lawson, 32, of Maple Grove Avenue, Danville faces a felony charge of writing a bad check.

The alleged offense occurred May 26, 2010, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrant Thursday.

Shanquita Monique Rosser, 18, of Brush Creek Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge of receiving and possessing stolen goods.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 19, and Tanner served the warrant Thursday.

Christopher K. Pumphrey, 24, of River Road, South Boston faces three felony charges – two for allegedly forging a check and one for a charge of fraud.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct.13, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrants Friday.

Jessie Devon B. Monroe, 28, of Riverdale Drive, South Boston faces two felony charges of distributing a controlled substance and two felony charges of selling, distributing and manufacturing an imitation drug.

Nunn served the warrants Friday.

Shawn Gregory Venable, 57, of Depot Road, Rustburg faces a felony charge of grand larceny, a felony intent charge of burglary and a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Deputy Q. W. Clark served the warrants Sunday.

Ronnie Carson Beadles, 31, of Thornton’s Road, Nathalie faces a felony intent charge of burglary, a felony charge of grand larceny, two misdemeanor charges of not paying fines and a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred May 20, 2009, June 1, 2011 and Friday. Sgt. D. H. Barksdale served the warrants Sunday.

Alisha Marie Wright, 36, of Mattox Street, Brookneal faces a felony charge of grand larceny, a felony intent charge of burglary and a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrants Sunday.

Tony Lee Bailey, 33, of Bane Street, South Boston faces two felony charges of grand larceny and two felony intent charges of burglary.

Clark served the warrants Monday.

Linwood McGhee Jr., 62, of Sunset Drive, Milton N.C. faces a felony charge of grand larceny.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrant the same day.

Tasha Jane Rutledge, 25, of North Main Street, Stanley N.C. faces a felony intent charge of burglary, a felony charge of grand larceny and a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Tanner served the warrants Monday.

William Worley, 18, of Black Walnut Church Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 24, and Clark served the warrant Thursday.

Tony Andrew Venable, 45, of Mountain Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 11, and Clark served the warrant Friday.

Eric Antonio Roberts, 29, of Willow Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Clark served the warrant the same day.

Dearrion G. Snead, 42, of Richmond faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 2, and Tanner served the warrant Friday.

James Robert Wilson, 29, of Hudson Road, Virgilina faces two misdemeanor charges of violating juvenile protective orders, a misdemeanor charge of failing to appear in court and a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 2 and Jan.3, and Nunn served the warrants Saturday.

Justin Johnson Hamlett, 28, of Stovall Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 24, and Clark served the warrant Sunday.

Roy Preston Conner, 48, of Love Shop Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant that same day.

Rodney Dean Bowman, 45, of Wilson Newton Road, Nelson faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Jan.11, and Clarke served the warrant Monday.

Charles Michael Sydnor, 44, of White Oak Fork Road, Virgilina faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Oct.14, and Nunn served the warrant Monday.

Samuel H. Fears, 23, of Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated.

Halifax Police Officer W. R. Wilmoth served the warrant on Saturday.
