Halifax man faces grand larceny charge

A 28-year-old Halifax man faces a felony charge of grand larceny, according to Sheriff’s Office records.

Justin Butler Gravitt of Ferry Trail was charged on Tuesday for the alleged offense that occurred Dec. 1.

Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrant.

David Doll Faulkner, 42, of Lower Liberty Road, Halifax faces a felony charge of grand larceny.

Lt. S. M. Bowen served the warrant Tuesday.

Michael Blake Vaughan, 34, of Slick Rock Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge of possessing a firearm after being a convicted felon.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 5, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant Wednesday.

Jamal Spencer Traynham, 21, of Thompson Store Road, Vernon Hill faces a felony charge marijuana distribution.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant the same day.

Terrell Laquan Miller, 21, of Virgilina Road, Virgilina faces a felony charge of marijuana distribution.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Clarke served the warrant the same day.

Adam Scott King, 28, of Chestnut Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 6, and Britton served the warrant Tuesday.

Eric Daniel Wingard, 45, of Ponderosa Road, South Boston faces one misdemeanor charge of assault and battery and another for disorderly conduct.

The alleged offenses occurred Oct. 30, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrants Tuesday.

Paula Lesha Pickren, 30, of Knox Street, Uvalda, Georgia faces misdemeanor charges of brandishing a firearm and possession of marijuana.

The alleged offenses occurred Tuesday, and Deputy J. P. Adams served the warrants Wednesday.

Jasper G. Griffith, 37, of Delma Burke Road, Uvalda, Georgia faces misdemeanor charges of brandishing a firearm and possession of marijuana.

The alleged offenses occurred Tuesday, and Adams served the warrants Wednesday.

Michael Brian Desmond Jr., 21, of Cousin Lane, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 11, and Clark served the warrant Wednesday.

Tamil Junior Traynham, 22, of East Bishop Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Clarke served the warrant the same day.

Deputy Patrick Clayton responded to a break–in on Coles Ferry Road in Nathalie Wednesday.

According to Sheriff Fred Clark, Nancy Carr reported someone had stolen a cd player and some speakers from her SUV sometime over the past two days.

Clarke responded to a break-in Wednesday on Stebbins Road in South Boston.

According to Clark, someone kicked open the front door of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Conner and stole a television and a jewelry box containing assorted jewelry.
