Felony sex charges lodged against Nathalie man

A 39-year-old Nathalie man faces three felony charges of aggravated sexual assault and one felony charge of sexual penetration with an object, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records. Garnett Taylor Lloyd Jr. of Lennig Road was charged Saturday for the alleged offenses that occurred March 1, 2008, May 1, 2010, June 1, 2010 and July 1, 2011.

Cpl. C. S. Yeatts served the warrants.

Christopher Nathan Casey, 21, of Turtle Lane, Clarksville faces nine felony charges of statutory rape.

The alleged offenses occurred on July 1, 2010, and Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrants Thursday.

James Michael Francis, 37, of Huell Matthews Highway, South Boston faces a felony charge of grand larceny.

The alleged offense occurred July 30, and Sgt. T. C. Spencer served the warrant Friday.

Dean Jeffrey Palmer Jr., 40, of Bane Street, South Boston faces two felony charges of grand larceny and two felony charges of intent to commit burglary.

The alleged offenses occurred Dec. 22, and Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrants Thursday.

Calvin William Russell, 48, West 5th Street, Lexington, Kentucky faces a felony charge of probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 28, and Spencer served the capias Thursday.

Gary Lamont Carrington, 37, of Bane Street, South Boston faces a felony charge of being a habitual offender.

The alleged offense occurred Nov.18, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrant Monday.

Damion Rashon Davis, 22, of Buffalo Road, Long Island faces a felony charge of grand larceny.

Deputy J. O. Tanner Jr. served the warrant Monday.

Rontina Davis Coleman, 38, of Love Shop Park Road, South Boston faces two misdemeanor charges of vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 11, and Tanner served the warrants Thursday.

James Kasean Gooden, 27, of Love Shop Park Road, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of vandalism and assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 12, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrants Thursday.

Angela Scott Kilmon, 35, Philpott Road, Alton faces misdemeanor charges of driving suspended under a DUI conviction, DUI, refusing blood or breath test and reckless driving/speeding.

The alleged offenses occurred June 8, and Clayton served the warrants Thursday.

Benjamin Charles Desmond, 18, of Cousins Lane, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 11, and Yeatts served the warrant Thursday.

Cynthia Lynn-Cranford Cole, 45, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 11, and Deputy S. Britton served the warrant Thursday.

Vicki Yates Ellis, 54, of White Drive, Ringgold faces misdemeanor charges of DUI and possession of marijuana.

Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrants Sunday.

David Davonne Britton, 21, of Volens Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of making threats over the telephone.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 8, and Yancey served the warrant Sunday.

Curtis Julius Garrett, 20, of Volens Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of making threats over the telephone.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 8, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant Monday.

Varian A. Waller, 25, of Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge for contempt of court, according to Halifax Police reports.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 9, and Officer S. M. Comer served the warrant on Jan.11.

Jeffrey Neal, 41, of Halifax faces two misdemeanor charges of trespassing and being drunk in public.

Officer W. R. Wilmoth served the warrant on Friday.

• Joseline E. Graves, 49, of Alton faces misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, trespassing and drinking an alcoholic beverage while driving.

Wilmoth served the warrants on Friday.

The clerk of Wilco-Hess Convenience Store in Halifax reported the theft of $30 in gasoline Sunday evening.
