Task Force Arrests Four On Drug Charges

Members of the Halifax/South Boston Regional Narcotics and Gang Task Force served indictments on four county men this week, according to Virginia State Police Special Agent M.T. Campbell, task force coordinator. On Monday, task force members served indictments on Alan Kensel Graves, 28, Crawford Road, Halifax, Campbell said. Graves was charged with three counts of distribution of cocaine and two counts of conspiring to distribute cocaine, he added.

Task force members served indictments on two South Boston men and a Halifax man on Tuesday, Campbell said.

Sirking Irvin Sweeney, 22, River Road, South Boston, was charged with four counts of distribution of cocaine, two counts of conspiring to distribute cocaine and distribution of more than one-half ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana, the task force coordinator said.

Christopher Deon Easley, 26, Ferry Street, South Boston, was charged with five counts of distribution of cocaine and one count of conspiring to distribute cocaine, Campbell said.

Brian Tucker, 24, Jones Store Road, Halifax, was charged with three counts of distribution of cocaine, the task force coordinator said.
