Halifax Regional Health System awards scholarships

Halifax Regional Health System has announced that 52 individuals have been awarded scholarships through Project PRIME (Public Rally for Individual Medical Education), the organization’s scholarship endowment fund. Recipients were all smiles as each individual was recognized and congratulated during the Project PRIME awards dinner in July.

Business expo to be held Sept. 26

Participants can register by Sept. 17 and pay $40 to attend the second annual Southern Virginia Business Expo hosted by Longwood University Small Business Development Center. This price includes continental breakfast, catered lunch, a full day of networking, motivational speakers and numerous exhibitors.
