Former county art teacher now at Fuqua

Fuqua School in Farmville welcomes four new faculty members for the 2013-2014 academic year including one teacher from Halifax County.

This fall we join with many other churches in prompting our folks to reach out to others in the name of Jesus Christ.  We are in the process of inviting people inside and outside the church, and doing all we can to move them out of their comfort zone so that Jesus’ call to reach out becomes an actuality.

Figures show few are able to find work

The jobless rate in Halifax County continued to grow bleaker in July as even fewer people were able to find jobs and the unemployment rate continued to soar in double digits.
