Mid-Atlantic Broadband links schools to fiber optic network

The Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Corporation, a wholesale open-access network transport provider announced Monday the successful completion of the $20 million capital project to connect more than 120 K-12 schools in Southern Virginia.

‘Night of the Living Dead’ 
remake set for Halloween showing

The wait to see local director Lewis Guthrie’s remake of the classic horror film, “Night of the Living Dead,” is over. A public showing of the film has been set for Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center-Innovation Center located in downtown South Boston.
