Perfect attendance recognized

Halifax County Middle School recognized more than 500 perfect attendees for September during each lunch block.  It was a great opportunity to re-emphasize how good attendance helps students succeed in school and bolster their self-esteem.

Middle school students will be recognized in each grade level monthly for perfect attendance. HCMS students with perfect attendance for September were recognized during lunch with perfect attendance wristbands and pendants.

Winning classrooms also are recognized for perfect attendance and are announced during homeroom.  Winning classes receive a trophy to keep in their classroom for the month, with a visit from Principal Faye Bruce where she congratulates the class and presents them with a treat.

Faculty and staff also are participating in this monthly recognition. HCMS continues to encourage regular attendance for all students, faculty and staff.
