Is there such a thing as “Too Much Bling”? Judy Scott says no.
She will be a returning vendor at the Holiday Living Show on Nov. 9 and 10 at Halifax County High School.
Scott has been exhibiting at the show for several years. After retirement, she began exhibiting with handmade fleece scarves and blankets. Because she likes to wear a “lot of bling,” she began designing her own jewelry. Now, her granddaughter, Grace Abdi, has decided to join her in jewelry designing. Abdi designs and makes headbands, bracelets and hand paints necklaces for the young and young at heart.
Look for “Too Much Bling” in the center of the gym and see what this team has designed.
Scott also will have some of her fleece products, and she invites the public to come by and get that special item.
The 2013 Holiday Living Show will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 10, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $2, and children under 10 get in free.
All proceeds from the show will be used by the Business Women’s Association of Halifax County for scholarships to help further the education goals of local young people.
