Approximately 200 people watched remote control planes fly this weekend during a fly-in sponsored by the Fighter Flight Against Cancer for all AMA members at William Tuck Airport in South Boston.
The event was free for the public to attend.
The Experimental Aircraft Association provided food sold during the event.
Raffles and giveaways also were held throughout the weekend event, and Halifax County Cancer Association volunteers directed parking at the airport while accepting donations.
All proceeds were donated to the Halifax and Danville Cancer Associations.
