New law practice formed to serve region

Local attorneys, Greg T. Haymore and Mark B. Holland have formed a partnership for the practice of law known as Haymore & Holland, P. C.  Their law firm is located in the heart of the River District at 219 Patton Street which is at the corner of Patton and Craghead streets in Danville.

“Greg and I have worked together on cases in the past and had often discussed a more permanent relationship.  The time seemed right to merge our complementary practices and increase the benefits that we bring to our clients,” said Holland.

Holland and Haymore have more than 40 years of combined experience representing the rights of residents of the Dan River Region.  Haymore & Holland will concentrate on personal injury and wrongful death cases.  The firm will also continue to handle divorce, criminal and general civil litigation cases as well as the general practice of law.

“We had both been solo practitioners for a number of years, and the opportunity to partner with Mark, who brings such a wealth of personal injury litigation experience, made this partnership a truly worthwhile endeavor.  We will combine over 40 years of experience with plenty of energy and drive to serve our clients in our personal injury focused firm,” said Haymore.

Although its practice is centered in Danville and Pittsylvania County, Haymore & Holland also will represent clients in Martinsville, Henry County, Franklin County and Halifax County as well as in Rockingham, Caswell and Person counties in North Carolina where Holland is a member of the North Carolina State Bar.

Haymore & Holland is open from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. five days a week, and the partners are available for evening and weekend consultations as well as home and hospital visits by appointment.  Initial consultations are free of charge in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
