Eden Jewelry opens in South Boston

Coming to South Boston with hopes to “cater to everyone” who has a love for jewelry, John Hyler and his wife, Michelle, have now opened Eden Jewelry in the Tri-Rivers Plaza.

“We are just thrilled to be able to open in South Boston with a good location,” said Hyler.

With a store open in Eden, N.C., and in Danville, Hyler said he realized that over 30 percent of the shoppers coming to the Danville store were from the Halifax County, South Boston area.

“I felt there was a need here,” he said, explaining why he decided to open a store here.

The South Boston store will offer a wide variety of jewelry with selections ranging in price from $1,000 to $40,000 diamonds, Pandora, gifts and items to cater to everyone’s taste.

“We’ll be the only store in a 30-mile radius that sells Pandora,” said Hyler.

One thing Hyler and Eden Jewelry strongly believe in is supporting the community.

The South Boston jewelry store employs a manager and four full-time employees and eight part-time employees from the area.

“We believe in supporting the community that supports us,” said Hyler.

He is very excited to open a store in South Boston with “a lot of merchandise,” and he added, he is “happy to be here.”
