Sponsors commit to SVHEC Workforce Forward Forum

The Southern Virginia Higher Education Center’s project team is grateful to the sponsors who are helping to make the upcoming Workforce Forward Forum 2012 on Sept. 20 a success.

Dr. Betty Adams, SVHEC executive director, extended a big thank you to all of the major event sponsors.

As forum sponsors, each organization will receive two event tickets, an audience with the keynote speaker, Harry Moser, reserved parking and seating, and table service at the luncheon.  

Other sponsorship benefits are inclusion of business logo on all Workforce Forward Forum event materials and promotional as well as a web link from the forum’s website to each company’s website. 

Each of the sponsors have committed to being a part of the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center’s unique and collaborative approach to workforce services and this fall’s Workforce Forward Forum.  The forum will be held on Sept. 20 at The Prizery in South Boston.  

All of the sponsors positively impact our region’s economy, and each has invested in Southern Virginia in various ways.

The theme for this year ‘s Forum is 'Virginia Manufacturing: Back to the Future?' and over the course of the event day information will be shared and discussed to support that manufacturing is very much alive in the US and Virginia.  

The event will take place on Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Prizery in South Boston.  Online registration is open for all employers, economic and workforce development professionals, educational and training providers, and all interested workforce stakeholders at 

The early bird registration fee is $40 before Sept. 1.
