The Southern Virginia Higher Education’s Department of Workforce Services will be offering a QuickBooks Financial Software Workshop beginning May 15. The workshop is geared towards new and beginning users and will be available for a nominal fee.
QuickBooks is one of the most popular accounting software packages, providing an easy way to track and maintain your organization’s financial health. QuickBooks allows users to quickly pay bills, to effortlessly create invoices, to easily generate easy-to-read financial reports, and to stay on top of incoming receipts and outgoing payments.
Churches, non-profits, and small businesses in need of professional quality accounting software are encouraged to take advantage of the QuickBooks training workshops.
Introduction to QuickBooks for new and beginning users will be offered on May 15 and 17 from 6-9 p.m. The fee for the workshop is $75.00.
“QuickBooks is an economical product for any organization or small business who needs an all in one accounting system, and these workshops will get you started,” said SVHEC Accounting Manager and workshop facilitator Brenda Terry.
Those interested in registering for the QuickBooks workshop should return a completed registration form with payment to the SVHEC. Registration forms are available at the SVHEC and online at www.svhed.org.
