Chamber unveils new look, brand

Halifax County Chamber of Commerce leaders unveiled the chamber’s new logo and branding at the 59th annual meeting and awards banquet on March 25.

The logo and brand identity is centered on principles most important to the business community — connection, engagement and prosperity, according to Chamber President Nancy Pool.

“The new branding is representative of the chamber’s vision for Halifax County,” she said.

Committee member Trish Barger developed the concept and proposed the new brand that reflects “a fresh, more updated and modern look representing the chamber’s vision,” added Mitzi Riddle, vice president of business and program development.

Lisa Kipps-Brown, Glenn Brown and Tina Morgan of Glerin designed the chamber’s new logo and tagline, an outcome of a strategic branding initiative led by the chamber’s board of directors and committee members.

The chamber plans to phase in the new logo over the next couple of months.
