‘Then Sings my Soul’ concert set Aug. 25

The combined choir will present a free concert “Then Sings my Soul” on Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church on North Main Street in South Boston.

Hillbilly Blues Band to perform Friday in South Boston

Matt Boswell and the Hillbilly Blues Band will perform at Constitution Square from 8 to 11:30 p.m. Friday as part of the Destination Downtown South Boston Summer Concert Series.

Bob Cage donates sculpture to Stratford Tennis Club

Bob Cage, an internationally known artist and champion tennis player, has truly left his mark on the Stratford Tennis Club of Danville with a gift that stands 25 feet tall and weighs some 1,400 pounds, counting its underground support.
