'Forever Plaid Tidings' continues

Matt McCubbin, Jacob Estes, Brandon Wilhelm and Brad Bass are performing in “Forever Plaid Tidings” at The Prizery Tuesday through Sunday.

‘The Nutcracker’ to be performed Saturday, Sunday at high school

“The Nutcracker” ballet is the story of a young girl’s enchanted romantic dream, and We’ve Got Rhythm Dance Academy will perform an abridged version of the ballet on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Halifax County High School auditorium.

With just a few days left until show time, the cast of The Prizery’s new Christmas production “Forever Plaid Tidings” opens Dec. 12, and the all-male cast has been working tediously to memorize lines, harmonies and choreography in a short amount of time.

‘The Man Who Saved Christmas’ continues this week at The Prizery

Many people would characterize teenagers today as self-absorbed and caring little about patriotism, much less history. However, Halifax County Little Theatre’s fall show “The Man Who Saved Christmas” brings together some of Halifax County’s most talented and theatrically experienced teenagers to tell a classic story about the American dream and the spirit of Christmas.
