‘The Man Who Saved Christmas’ continues this week at The Prizery

Many people would characterize teenagers today as self-absorbed and caring little about patriotism, much less history. However, Halifax County Little Theatre’s fall show “The Man Who Saved Christmas” brings together some of Halifax County’s most talented and theatrically experienced teenagers to tell a classic story about the American dream and the spirit of Christmas.

Magic, mayhem in toyland

Try and imagine a Christmas with no toys under the tree. Now imagine that you own the toy company that makes all of those wonderful toys. The latest production from Halifax County Little Theatre is loosely based on a real episode during World War I.

‘The Man Who Saved Christmas’ premieres Friday

We all hope for our children to find something they love to do which also will help them develop confidence, poise, responsibility and leadership. We introduce them to lots of sports and activities, hoping to find one which will put that sparkle in their eyes and make them want to work hard.
