Looking for a little holiday entertainment?
The community is invited to participate in the Christmas Extravaganza taking place in the Leggett Auditorium at Halifax Regional Hospital on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“This is our second Christmas Extravaganza,” said Debra Stewart RN, clinical documentation specialist and chair of Halifax Regional Hospital’s Healing Arts team. “This is our largest ‘Third Thursday in the Lobby’ event which provides monthly happenings in the lobby and throughout the hospital and can be enjoyed by visitors, patient’s families, our staff and the community.
“We will be serving gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate throughout the day as well,” Stewart said. “We hope that anyone who happens to have an appointment at the hospital or is visiting someone will join in the fun. The community is more than welcome to participate, too.”
The Healing Arts team is one of the Planetree teams designed to support and implement patient/person-centered care initiatives to personalize, humanize and demystify health care.
