The Piano Man will headline his first solo appearance in Raleigh since 2007. Billy Joel, one of the highest grossing touring artists in the world, has sold over 150 million albums globally and his music remains among the most popular in the world. The singer/songwriter/composer is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time and the third best-selling solo artist. He will perform at PNC Arena Feb. 9.  Tickets go on sale Dec. 14. Tickets are on sale now for 2014’s Vans Warped Tour, which is scheduled to make stops at Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach July 23 and PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte July 28. The first bands to be announced to play the traveling festival are For Today, Stray From The Path, Air Dubai, Mixtapes and Teenage Bottlerocket.
