If you’re looking for an unstoppable evening of hits from two of rock music’s seminal artists, here’s your ticket … Rod Stewart will launch his eagerly anticipated “Live the Life” tour in North America this spring, joined by legendary artist Steve Winwood. The tour will kick off April 10 in Chicago and play 10 arenas, including a stop at Greensboro Coliseum April 27. Tickets are on sale now.

Kid Rock will play Greensboro Coliseum Feb. 26, in support of his recently released album “Rebel Soul.” Backed by his Twisted Brown Trucker Band, the full-scale arena tour will feature Buckcherry and Hellbound Glory as support. Kid Rock promises more dates to be announced soon. Tickets go on sale Dec. 15.

Following overwhelming national sales, five-time Grammy award-winner Lady Gaga will bring her “Born This Way Ball” tour to Greensboro Coliseum March 18. Gaga will perform her latest album Born This Way as well as music from both The Fame and The Fame Monster. Tickets are on sale now.

Six-time Grammy award-winning artist Taylor Swift will launch a North American stadium and arena tour in early 2013 in support of her blockbuster new album, “Red.” Swift is currently slated to headline 62 shows in 45 cities in 29 states and three provinces in 2013. The tour will kick off in Nebraska on March 13 and continue through September, making stops at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte March 22, Greensboro Coliseum Sept. 12, PNC Arena in Raleigh Sept. 13 and John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville Sept. 14. Singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran will be special guest on all of the shows on the tour. Tickets for Charlotte are on sale now. Tickets for Greensboro and Raleigh go on sale Dec. 14. Hot country singer Brantley Gilbert will bring his “Hell on Wheels” tour to Roanoke Civic Center April 26. Special guest and rising country star Kip Moore will open. Tickets go on sale Dec. 14.

The annual Vans Warped Tour featuring punk rock and extreme sports is gearing up for 2013, with announcements on dates, venues and ticket on sales. The venue list consists mainly of amphitheaters, and will include Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach July 9 and Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte July 29. Tickets, priced for now at $23.50, are on sale now and will include a 2013 Warped comp CD with each purchase. For more info, visit

Fleetwood Mac has announced a 34-city tour commemorating the 35th anniversary of the release of the band’s mega-hit album “Rumours.” The lineup will feature Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. For now, the nearest venue will be Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. April 9. Tickets go on sale Dec. 17. Apparently a website is under construction … … it is sparse, but hopefully more information will be forthcoming.
