Dave Matthews Band will support its latest No. 1 album, Away From The World, with a month-long East Coast outing that launches Nov. 30 in New Jersey. The run will include a stop at PNC Arena in Raleigh Dec. 12 and a two-night stand at John Paul Jones Arena in the band’s hometown of Charlottesville Dec. 14 and 15.

“Away From The World” bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last month, making DMB the first group in chart history to have six consecutive studio albums debut atop the chart.

The group – which ranked as the biggest ticket seller worldwide of the past decade has sold over 18 million tickets since its inception – has sold a collective 37 million CDs and DVDs combined.

Tickets will go on sale for the Raleigh show Oct. 19 and for the Charlottesville shows Oct. 26.

Music Icon George Strait has announced plans for his final two-year tour – The Cowboy Rides Away Tour – which has scheduled a stop at Greensboro Coliseum March 23.

Strait, who celebrated his 60th birthday earlier this year, has earned more than 60 major industry awards and sold over 65 million albums. He is the only artist in music history to achieve at least one Top Ten hit each year during his 30-year career. Martina McBride will be special guest.

Tickets go on sale Oct. 12.
