NEWS

Wunderkind. Prodigy. Phenomenon. Ms. D Productions will present a jazz performer who has been given the distinction of all of these titles for a one-time only concert Friday, Sept. 21 at The Prizery. Grace Kelly Jazz Quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m.

The 20-year-old singer/saxophonist/composer/lyricist/arranger/educator is a “rising star heading for the stratosphere,” gushes the Montreal Gazette. Having performed over 500 concerts worldwide and with seven CDs in release, Kelly’s music is not just for jazz lovers and Friday’s concert offers a rare opportunity to see a musical phenomenon.

Tickets are $24 for adults, $10 for students with valid I.D. and are available online at www.sobocommongrounds.com or from Common Grounds, 4018 Halifax Road, South Boston, or at the door beginning at 6 p.m. the night of the concert.
