Father/sons artists Philip, Curt and Wyatt Ramsey will hold an exhibit at the Danvillian Gallery in Danville during the month of September. Their work will remain on exhibit and available for purchase throughout the month.
Gallery owners Wayne Dobson and Sally Popu invite the public to an Artists’ Reception and Exhibit on Friday, Aug. 31 from 6-9 p.m.

Each member of this trio is gifted in the fine art of oil painting, and each paints in his very unique style, Dobson said.
Phil Ramsey, father of Curt and Wyatt, began his career as a mural artist. He painted over 100 murals for businesses and residences in Southern Virginia and North Carolina. During this time he also taught private art lessons.
Later, the Ramsey patriarch studied informally under internationally renowned portrait artist, John de la Vega, focusing on fine oil portraits.
He also paints original impressionistic oil paintings. Private collectors from the Unites States, Canada, Thailand and Malawi own Ramsey originals.
In addition to commissions, he has work hanging in Destination Gallery in South Boston; Lantana’s Gallery in Southport, N.C. and The Little Gallery in Moneta.
