NEWS

THE WHO, one of rock’s legendary and defining bands, have announced a major North American arena tour, including a Nov. 9 concert at Greensboro Coliseum, where they’ll perform their iconic 1973 double album “Quadrophenia” in its entirety, along with a selection of WHO classics.

The critically acclaimed Quadrophenia marked the British band’s second rock opera (after Tommy) and raised the bar for rock albums as an art. Founding members Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend will be joined on the tour by Zak Starkey, Pino Palladino, Simon Townshend, Chris Stainton, Loren Gold and Frank Sims.

Tickets go on sale July 27 at 10 a.m.
